Covid Advisory for Citizens of USA Traveling India


(A). Complete the self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal. (Air Suvidha Self Declaration Form | Fill Online) before travel, including details of travel in the last 14 days.

(B). Upload a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR result (the test should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to undertaking the journey) or a certificate of full primary COVID-19 vaccination schedule.

(C). Submit a declaration with respect to the authenticity of the information provided and will be liable for criminal prosecution, if found otherwise.

Note - You have relaxation in filing Certificate of completing full primary vaccination schedule of COVID-19 vaccination.


Visa Information for Citizens of USA Traveling India


E-Visa is Available for Following Categories

e-Tourist Visa

e-Business Visa

e-Conference Visa

e-Medical Visa

e-Medical Attendant Visa

e-Emergency X-Misc Visa


(A). With Tourist/e-Tourist Visas, you may enter into India only through designated Sea Immigration Check Posts (ICPs) or Airports ICPs by flights. In no case you will be allowed to enter through Land border or riverine routes on Tourist Visa/e-Tourist Visa.

(B). You should have a return ticket or onward journey ticket, with sufficient money to spend during his/her stay in India.

(C). Your passport should have at least six months validity at the time of making application for grant of e-Visa.

(D). E-Tourist Visa is not available to International Travel Document Holders other than Passport.
